I heard that there was a terrible storm, several months ago. Were you there for it?

Do we have any earth mages?

I was. If you've heard about it, you know that we had deaths in that time. We were still very disorganized, so there were deaths during the flood.

I haven't spoken with anyone that has those kind of skills.

Levees, perhaps, along the riverbanks, though I'm a bit better at breaking that sort of thing down than setting it up.

Are we sure this is another experiment? There's been nary a peep from the Malnosso.

We need materials create levees; sandbags, stones, shovels. We can also look into the possibility of water mages diverting the water if it becomes volatile.

Did we have a warning for the last experiment? I no longer trust looking out for Malnosso "warnings."

That boy, Gaara ... he can control sand. I'll try to get in touch with him, and see what his level of control is, as far as that's concerned. We should also gather a list of our water mages, just so we know who we have, and their level of skill.

I believe they at least made an appearance on the network, though the 'warning' in itself was negligible, at best.

We'll need runners to gather other supplies from the stores. And we need to prepare for other problems. Lightning and forest fires. Heavy fog or darkness.

That's what I meant. Perhaps because it was due to the fact that it was my first campaign. Perhaps it was due to the nature of the enemy. Perhaps it was even due to the initial strength of my forces.

If you can contact those with water or earth elemental control, we could use their help going into this experiment ... if it's really an experiment.

We'll hope the water doesn't rise that high, too. We just have a lot more variables to take into consideration.

What kind of problems do you think could arise? I'm more concerned with possible problems than possible solutions.

We shouldn't have to make priorities like that. Not yet. Are you worried about children, or certain people?

The first one that comes to mind is a bunch of people trying to do things five different ways at once. And there are groups of allies and enemies here.

No, they certainly don't. We've had problems with the weather before, and I don't want a repeat of the fatalities we had. Whether it be rain or lightning or harsh wind, we need to be careful.
