Now more than ever, we need to be united in our information resources and our planning. I'm already hearing the din of chaos around me; people are panicking.

You mean I should send out a call for them all to gather? Sure. But what's the plan?

Depending on the capabilities of your group, I would like them to join either a party heading for the mountains or remaining here to patrol the village and perimeter.

What can you tell me of your group's strengths, now that residents' powers are back?

Let's see... X and his friend Zero are both artificial humans. They don't need to eat or sleep and X is specialized in hand-to-hand combat. Then there's Gaara who can apparently manipulate sand. Subaru, the non-vampire one, is something called a medium. He can pin people in place and things like that. Then there's the leftover group of fighters, consisting of Lloyd, Emil, Stahn, Sora, Cless and myself. We're all specialized in swordsmanship, but I can cast some magic along with that.

Aya is an assassin by trade, but I haven't seen him around. I think he might've been kidnapped not too long ago. And Cloud said we can call for him in case of an emergency.

[oh, wait, Cless is dead. But Vyse doesn't know that.]

Your group would perhaps be best fitted for exploring and providing support for those gathering information beyond the barrier, provided you are accompanied by others who can take care of the wounded. We don't know what threats are out there.

What are your thoughts on potentially-aggressive residents, such as Diavolo? Will I need to split your group so there are some to defend the town?

I think splitting up would be better, actually. There's more aggressive residents running around out there and now that they have their powers back, defending the town will probably be needed.

Your suggestions on who would be best to leave behind. You are more familiar with which individuals will work well together.

Hm... Okay, I know. I'll lead the team heading into the mountains. My first mate, Lloyd, can stay to protect the village. One of his friends is a healer. Others who can stay behind are Emil, Subaru and Shirley. Some of them might not be too eager to stay put, though. In fact, I'm guessing Subaru's already on his way to the mountains.

I think either X or Zero will stay behind. They both accepted the task of nightwatch, but if the Malnosso have strange equipment out there, one of them might come in handy in my group.
