I have a list of those who volunteered their services during the experiment in which the barrier fell. While some of them have vanished from the village since then, it was the most successful of any attempts to gather data from residents.

One of the most obvious elements missing in this village is a central space where residents may gather. Various other towns have government halls or churches to institute some form of commonality amongst the residents. The only building we have that accommodates in such a way is the schoolhouse, and that is too small; as most of you know, when I organized groups to head to the mountains, the meeting ended up being held outside of the schoolhouse due to the amount of volunteers.
