∞ 68: Relaxing in a new setting [action]

[This is a kind of pampering Albert hasn't had ... well, ever. Places he had visited throughout his own world paled in comparison to the modern conveniences this hotel offers. This evening, unlike previous evenings that he spent on his balcony or chilling near the pub, Albert's in the pool.

Well, the pool or the hot tub, depending on when you might come across him. He may even be enjoying a glass of wine, which could be a bad thing if you don't know a thing or two about the effects of hot tubs and alcohol.

This is a very rare opportunity. Might as well take advantage of a few perks, right?]

[Dear lord that pool is even more terrifying the closer you get. Her eyes briefly run across the numbers. The shallow end doesn't seem to be that long, or that shallow. She shakes her head a little. Better not to fixate on that, and just concentrate on getting to the hot tub area.

Raine moves toward the chairs, setting the bag down and spreading a towel over one of those reclining seats. ... And there's Albert, one chair over.]

... In a sense, I suppose. Have you been down here long?

[She carefully takes a seat, leaving the bag to the side.] Oh? I'm surprised that more don't come in here, but I suppose it could be the last thing on their minds, after the park.
wise_maiden: (that just can't look forward)

No, of course not. That would have been a little much. [She frowns slightly at the thought, and shakes her head.] Have you been in the tub already?
wise_maiden: (on comes the panic light)

[personal profile] wise_maiden 2009-11-01 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. Does the tub really replicate the sensation of being in a natural spring?

[She nods, and unties her robe, slipping it off.] I suppose I should, considering that's the reason I came down here.

It would be a little disappointing if it weren't.

[She approaches the tub, slipping her sandals off before cautiously stepping inside the heated body of water. And another, until she's able to take a seat. The tub itself is a bit larger than she expected, probably meant to hold a larger group of people, and too empty at that. So she closes her eyes so she can relax properly and not think of that. It does feel nice, so she gives a soft, contented sigh.] Ah...
