Introductions, I suppose. I haven't written one in quite awhile. My name is Albert Silverberg, and I have been a resident in Luceti for over two years now. A welcome to our New Feathers; here's hoping the welcome center and other residents make captivity as hospitable as possible.

Blue Rogues, please keep an eye out for the abducted and any stragglers from this month's New Feather cycle. The snow may make it especially difficult to traverse the forest.

I suggest everyone take heed of this amount of snowfall and prepare accordingly. Extra blankets, warmer clothing, stockpiling in case of a blizzard. The weather hasn't been this cold in the past to warrant snow this early. Long-time residents may recall that we had great amounts of rain around this time in the past two years -- enough to affect the terrain with floods and severe erosion.

I was told that there was a young lady who would customize jewelry. I would like to speak with her if possible.

To be frank, it actually had to do with the fact you mentioned ANI over the journals. [He takes the glass and swirls its contents lightly.] In any case, meeting in person is better for speculation.

I'm not sure what we can do about the situation as it is now, but continuing the conversation would have only served to escalate the Organization's suspicions.

So we may want to keep these conversations in-person from now on, if we continue these discussions. It's something the Professor and I have done for a long while.

I believe asking ANI has benefits, though. I do agree with you. Unfortunately, we run into many instances where ... authorization is needed. Or the information is just not available to us.

"That's classified." Yeah. [Guy taps a couple fingers on the table before sipping his wine again.] She sure likes her riddles. Maybe it just comes with being in this place too long.

It's possible. It's said one needs to have a sense of humor to stay sane. [But what does that say about Kefka, then? ...Let's not go there.] I admit a lack of knowledge about how beings like ANI could function. Luceti has introduced me to many things others here have called "modern conveniences."

Tell me about it. The droids, that theme park; they're all machines that I've never even seen before. And some of the people here have giant cities made up entirely of technology that I'd only have seen in the Dawn Age, it's amazing. [Geek on.]

While it can be fascinating, it also leaves us at a disadvantage if we don't know what we're dealing with. And we haven't been in a good place to actually study the technology.

True...you don't think there's anyone here who'd be able to make any educated guesses, huh?

I'm sure there are some who come from quite advanced technology. Having opportunities to study are more difficult to come by, though. I was told that Miss Parker had been trying to find a way to deal with the droids before she disappeared.

[Oh yeah, that sadist.] I guess she didn't tell anyone about what she came up with before leaving, too. Damn.

Indeed. So that was another endeavor lost.

I guess asking around for someone to pick up the torch would be a waste of time...unless you'd like me to give it a shot?

Considering what we know of the droids' movements, it wouldn't be fair to take you to task on the matter. You would almost have to encourage the droids to attack you to draw them out.

I don't mind! They never seem to treat me too poorly when I'm taken.

Wow Guy. That's impressive.] If you're certain you're willing to face any consequences. Miss Parker seemed prepared for the violence that would come her way.

Well, I might call in a couple favors, but I'm willing to give it a try if it worked before. [Really, he just wants to feel useful.]

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. This really isn't something to take lightly, considering it may require you to be abducted. The best case scenario is for you to fend off an attack and take down a droid so it can be studied. [But you're already useful, Guy! ...You keep the bar!]

[The "best case scenario" sounds pretty iffy.] I'll talk with some people and see if we can work something out.
