My thanks to those who answered Mr. Belmont's survey about practical skills. Knowing who has knowledge about certain skills will be helpful should there be situations where we need residents' specialties. I hope those who have volunteered information will remain open to the prospect of teaching or aiding others should the opportunity arise.

We're approaching the end of the calendar year, and with it the beginning of another New Feather cycle. Everyone remain alert for newcomers who arrive in this weather.

Report, Yuber.

[Raine and Genis may notice boxes outside of their doors come early morning. Genis has a blue and white sweater and Raine has a cream-colored winter gear set (scarf, hat, and gloves) -- courtesy of All Passions.

The gift-giver is nowhere to be found. He won't be home until evening.]

[There's no point in sneaking in if you're not home, Albert, gosh.]

I think I might actually be able to put that survey to good use.

Hopefully they don't end up leaving their journals behind when they arrive. It'll be hard to track down New Feathers like that.

[But he'd fall asleep before he got home. He'd never get to see the look on his face!]

That's nothing new. It'll make my job a little easier, at least. Not that it's very hard to begin with.

I wonder if they'll spare more people of being half-naked this time around? I heard there are some who wake up next to their own clothes.

I don't think I saw that survey.

It wasn't a problem. Is there much call for a cartographer in Luceti, though? I get the impression the maps are pretty much taken care of.

I'm completely open to teaching what I know, and learning from others. This is a good idea, if the list can be frequently updated.

[Wh-what. Are you insane? B|]

Just organizing my thoughts. I think I'll go and visit the barricades today after a nap.

[identity profile] 300yrswandering.livejournal.com 2009-12-31 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps. It would be nice if it were all year round.

Will do. I think I have a few I might be able to contribute.

I don't think I saw your entry.

[identity profile] mikangirl.livejournal.com 2009-12-31 09:46 am (UTC)(link)
Huh, really? [She should have taken a closer look.]

Well ...that'd give me something to do around here. I'd be happy to try once the weather clears a little.

I think long-term would suit me just fine. It would stop me going stir crazy, anyway.

Have you made any notes yourself, then?

[identity profile] 300yrswandering.livejournal.com 2009-12-31 10:13 am (UTC)(link)
That's true. The geography of this place is a mess. I'm surprised it could actually exist like this.

I suppose so. I would've figured you'd be a good cook though.

[identity profile] mikangirl.livejournal.com 2009-12-31 10:15 am (UTC)(link)
[...he has a horse? That's interesting.]

Well, I was thinking of coming to see Raine in a few days, actually. Maybe I could talk to you more about it then?

[This insanity is too much. D:]

I thought as much. Looks like you've just saved me a trip, too. Are you trying to keep me in bed all day?
