I know that the Malnosso likely won't leave those who refused alone. It would simply be too convenient. And I doubt they would let those who did volunteer out on the battlefield with even less numbers.

Though some would rather fight alone, I feel it best to form a sort of partner system, or to fight in groups of more than two. It's inevitable for us to split apart, yet with the charge of keeping an eye on your partner... Not only would you have extra strength by your side, but you'd also have someone to aid you if you do fall in battle.
