Have they all lasted a week? They all seem to last too long.

I haven't really counted, but someone else I know has, and it's been basically a week each time.

... Well, they're prompt, at least.

How many have been affected? Have you noticed anyone missing?

I only know of about ten or so people who aren't affected in some way. ...Some of them turned into kids physically, but kept their memories, but most are like they were at whatever age.

Missing? ...It's hard to tell.

I suppose they needed some ... babysitters in a situation like this. How kind of them.

From whoever you know. I'm almost convinced the Malnosso have at least one person abducted at all times.

I think there are some people who were taken before this started, and aren't back yet. No one I know well, though.

Caesar had a theory that these experiments are actually a distraction so they can abduct more Filial, so it couldn't help to ask.

...Yeah, the theory we have is that having them turn into kids makes them easier to...catch.

... Babysitters. I'm serious.

We may have to gather all of the children together for their own good, if your theory sticks.

There's nowhere around here big enough to hold everyone like that. ...And if they want someone specific, the Malnosso are pretty hard to hold off.

Not comfortably, but the community housing is perhaps the best equipped if we needed a disaster shelter of some sort.

Unless you have other ideas on how to monitor a village of children.

...The real problem might be if the Malnosso start abducting the few remaining adults.

Indeed. In which case his theory would be proven.

... But I somehow don't imagine the Malnosso are targeting the same individuals. In which case, at least you and I will not be taken.

You have a point. I don't know of anyone who's been taken twice. ...That still leaves a pretty good handful of adults, though.

It would be a matter of holding on while the experiment runs its course. If there was a way to stop the abductions, you can be sure we would have a plan by now.
