There were often rumors, especially at the beginning of the Gate Rune War, that Tir McDohl was a figurehead and puppet to the strongly anti-Empire Mathiu Silverberg. Similar rumors spread when Riou, son of the very hero that united Jowston, arose from obscurity. Now, applying that same obnoxious theory to the Grasslands war...

Hm. Yes, indeed.
