∞ 25: In interest of a calendar...

Since I've just completed my project, I'd like to conduct a simple poll with the citizens of Luceti.

Would you use a calendar if one was standardized for the village?

I'm thinking of ways to distribute this list to those that showed early interested. From my research, I can say it's Monday, April 21. The most common names of weekdays and months are listed below -- those are what I used for standardizing the calendar for Luceti.

Days of the Week (7 to a week, 30/31/28 to a month, 365.25 to a year)
Sunday
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday

Months of the Year (12 to a year)
January (31 days)
February (29 days this "leap" year, 28 for next three years)
March (31 days)
April (30 days)
May (31 days)
June (30 days)
July (31 days)
August (31 days)
September (30 days)
October (30 days)
November (30 days)
December (31 days)

It means I've been here for practically six months, now. I should probably start saying I'm 18...

...Did she tell you, or did you figure it out on your own?

I... didn't really make an effort to meet people.

We're going to have to announce it soon, or everyone's going to already know.

What do you do, exactly?

...I don't know that much about babies, but she can't be more than a month along. She shouldn't need it for a while, right?

...I don't think I'd be ready for this after nine months, much less three.

...I didn't say I did. I just--

...Does this mean the baby won't be human?

[ooc: I'm laughing at him too. The poor guy. :\]

...

The baby would've only been half-human anyway, and I don't know how that would have affected it even without being Filial on top of it. Ferines and Orerines don't usually have kids together. I'm a little surprised we can.

[ooc: Well, he's not going to ask Will. He'd get a wall of emo.]

I wish more people thought that way, but... Well, humans aren't even really native to our planet.

[ooc: It's a different kind of emo... Kratos at least got to raise his kid for a while. And he thought Lloyd had died, while Will knew Harriet was there but couldn't go to her. D:]

I guess it doesn't matter now. I'm... well, I'm just hoping the baby will have at least some Ferines traits. There's not really much chance of it being accepted by Stella's people, but there won't be a chance at all if it's completely human or... Filial.

[ooc: Probably, lol. Though I'm sure Senel and Stella will be relying on a lot of different people.]

Shirley, our sister, was here for a while... and there's also Walter. You probably haven't seen him because he's holed up somewhere away from all the humans.

...I'm not going to let that happen.

[ooc: They're just grateful people are being supportive. ♥ And he brought up the Ferines thing because Senny's still sort of clinging to the hope that he can get home one day and bring Stella and the baby with him...]

It's... pretty complicated. I feel the same way, but there's been a lot of bad past history between us. Ever since we showed up, humans have been taking over the Ferines' world and exploting them. I can't blame them for hating us, not really. Some people even... experimented on the Ferines just like the Malnosso do.

[ooc: Well, they revived them. Who says they have to go back to being dead?]

...It's pretty much only Stella and Shirley who don't dislike the Orerines. But things are getting better, or were when I left anyway. Still... they tried to get back at us by wiping out all the land on the planet, so they're not blameless, either. And aside from the Ferines themselves and my friends, nobody else even remembers the reason for fighting in the first place.

[ooc: lol, it's kind of sad when you say that...]

He was part of it. He kept on forcing a fight, and... well, we had to kill him.

I don't think he's a danger to anyone like this, though. He's just lost.
