This has been a rather boring passage of time. I can see why the others were eager to move on from this fort; there's not much here at all.

Noishe has been quiet since I began running a few experiments; he must not have--

[There some sounds of shifting in the sand, then boots on wood as Albert climbs a bit to higher ground.]

...Oh. Is that your group out there, Vyse? Welcome ba--

... ...

I think Noishe is running out to greet your group.

[indeed, the old fort is already becoming visible in the distance for our Blue Rogue gang. It shouldn't be too long until they reach that place, now. Five to ten more minutes of walking oughta do it. Vyse is already opening his journal to respond to Albert]

Yeah, it's us!

[he waves enthusiastically, but Albert probably can't see it from all the way up in that fort.]

Finally! [Lloyd was immediately re-energized by the sight of the fort and the end of this desert.]

[no more burning sun! Once they reach the fort, it'll be nice and cool.]

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to spend two days in the dark tunnel.

[We're not looking forward trekking through the creepy tunnel again. Sigh.]

[Lloyd is. ...For the moment. Probably not after they're in there.] Shade really sounds great right now.

[ SUDDENLY A GIGANTIC WHINING GREEN BLUR ATTACKS ]

LLOYD!! ♥

[SURPRISE ENCOUNTER. Lloyd gets shoved clean off balance, sending sand everywhere as he's knocked on his back with a giant dog on top of him.] H-hey! Noishe?

[ Noishe is trying to speak and lick Lloyd's face at the same time while slowly smothering him. :\ ]

You're back! You're here!

Can't breathe... Noishe. [ew, dog slobber, as if he weren't already sweaty

...but he's still laughing.]

[ Sweaty Lloyd is better than no Lloyd. Which probably means he'll get off to make sure he doesn't lose him. ]

It's been so long ... it's so great to see you!

[Kratos made sure to stay out of sight until Lloyd got the full attack from Noishe. Now he just stands with his arms crossed as he watches the scene. He expects a tackle too even if he'd like to avoid it.]

It's great to see you too, boy. [have a clinghug around the neck as he sits up. We'll forget that your fur makes things even hotter for now.]

[ We're okay because we have ~summer fur~. And OH SNAP WHAT IS THAT MYSTERIOUS PERSON STANDING OVER YONDER?

The look Noishe is giving Kratos is quite blank. Not a good sign for Kratos' personal space. ]

[It'll all be over soon, Kratos. Just take it like a man.]

...Noishe.

[ Lloyd, you better let go. BECAUSE IT IS NOT GOOD TO HOLD ON TO A BULLET. ]

KRATOS!!

[brb, kind of trampled back to the ground by a flying dog here :\]

[...brb, quickly writing out a will in his head as Noishe speeds towards him. Everything goes to Lloyd. Aaaaaaand he braces himself.]

Yeah, Noishe's pretty special. Some people don't even think he's a dog!

He's almost as big as a horse!

He'll let you ride him, too. He's really fast.

That sounds like it'd be so cool to do!

Yeah, it made trips back home a lot easier. Well, except he won't go where monsters are around...
