∞ 44: Another meeting [written/action]
Filtered to the council and Golbez
[written]
I would like to call a meeting in the very near future. We have much to talk about -- the tunnels, the desert, the fort, the ruins. In addition, we have the matter of a destructive new resident who had to be forcefully neutralized; Sir Golbez, another newcomer, can report on the matter.
Your thoughts on meeting soon, everyone. Mark is unfortunately absent due to our captors.

[Albert is finally heeding his body's need for nourishment, going out to shop for groceries. He has a lot on his mind -- but really, when does he not?]

Albert can detect the lack of "You know I love you" sparkles in his eyes?:o
Thanks.
Caesar doesn't love him? :o SHOCK.
You're welcome.
[The weather seems to reflect what Albert thinks of the situation; there's something almost dead in the air, something that unbalances what he considered normal between himself and his brother. The jubilant, thoughtful charm that he associated with Caesar was missing in this visitor.
He shakes the observation away as he begins to eat.]
He does, but he doesn't radiate the love like Luceti!Caesar does.
He eats quietly, not looking up from his food. He would eventually have to finish the bowl, and he doesn't know what to do. If anything, it would depend on what Albert would want to do.]
True, true. That's what happens when no one in his life appreciates him being ... extroverted.
That thought carries him into a new line of conversation.]
...You will need somewhere to sleep.
And well, he shouldn't.:| What's Albert going to do with this Caesar's love?
There's one room left, correct?
Absolutely nothing. In Luceti. :|
No, there are two rooms left. This house can accommodate four.
And in the dressing room?:o
I'll take the sister-in-law's room.
Torment him? :] I dunno, actually.
Very well. Finish your food.
[Not that he needs to prod him into eating. He just wants to quash the topic he breached.]
...I'll look forward to the day Albert makes my Caesar snap.:|;
...Okay. [He gives Albert a reply anyway; it has been a long time since he had been chided to eat.]
He hasn't already? :|; ...Well, I guess that was more the castle's fault than Albert's.
He has yet to yell and stomp and cry his eyes out?:|
He would do that? :|
I intend to retire soon. Do you need anything for the night?
...... ._. ...Maybe if the castle helps.
Is there anything you want?
Some help. >_> Caesar might want to move out afterwards.
What do you mean?
You're underestimating Caesar. It allll depends on ALBERT's reaction.:|
I, really shut up when I'm sleeping.
Codepedent!Caesar? 8|
[He retrieves his coat and walks out of the kitchen, frowning.]
The reason he doesn't yell anymore is because it doesn't trigger the reaction he wants. So...
I don't intend to communicate with them.
[He follows Albert.]

Good. They don't need you adding to their stress.

I can imagine.

Extra blankets. It can get very cold at night.

[He takes them, thinking he wouldn't be able to sleep anyway. Experiments don't last more than a week, Albert had said. Caesar doesn't remember him mentioning the minimal lasting period. This could be his last day in Luceti. This could be his last day alive as this version of Caesar Silverberg.]
