Speaking my praises. I suppose you don't have much of a singing voice. Unfortunate we never saw what would happen if you were inflicted with that Opera Mask.

I wouldn't call it unfortunate. I don't think my singing voice would be anything compared to yours, Al. How's that for speaking praises?

[It should come as no surprise that Albert easily confounds his brother.]

I suppose one could see it as praise. Not that one will ever be able to compare, as neither of us will ever be inclined to do such a thing.

[It really doesn't, but this time, Caesar smirks a little.]

What do you think? [He snorts, adjusting his hold on the skates as they approach the bridge on their way back to the house. They would soon be at the branch that would lead either towards the plaza or towards their house.]

[Albert responds with ease.] Would you like to be introduced to another snowdrift? Or perhaps an icy river?

Ah, you wound me! I really thought this was my chance.

[chikaidestroyer]

Must you say it like that? I'm sure you have heard lullabies before.

Of course I have, but it's been years. You can't just start singing like that and then fail to sing your baby brother a lullaby!

[chikaidestroyer]

[He prickles at the use of "fail."] Of course I can. And it's not a matter of failing -- it was my choice not to grace you with such a memory.

I think you owe me for that stunt you just pulled.

[Yes, owe him.]

And here I thought we were even after all of the complaining you were doing.

We are for now, but what if I get sick? Then we won't be even anymore.

Your point? If you become sick, you will somehow make me sing you a lullaby?

If only it were that easy! But I know I can't make you do anything, Albert.

Very good. It is best for your state of health that you remember that you must force another's hand from time to time. [A strange compliment, but a compliment all the same.]

[...that compliment was so strange he's not sure what just happened!]

Uh... Thanks? [M-maybe?] Does that mean I should try and force you to sing again?

[He snorts.] Of course not. I was referring to what you did earlier today.

[You know, forcing him to come out to the ice rink.]

Earlier? [It takes him a moment to realize what he's talking about. He hadn't done anything special earlier today, besides... coming out here, of course.] ...oh. I'm flattered, but I think you give me too much credit!

...Are you being modest? [He seems genuinely amused to hear this.] I never thought I would see that day.

[mydearapple]

Not at all. [He shakes his head, but there's a smirk in his voice as he speaks.] It's simply that I didn't think of trying to force your hand. I just wanted you to come try this with me.

And you would not take no for an answer. What would you consider that?
