As much as I dislike these new appendages, they provide something to do in between reading books and furnishing my room. Though I feel even more bird-like picking at my wings to keep them presentable. Hmph.
At least those annoying flowers are no longer invading ... everything.

I woke up here yesterday, and people are talking about everyone being kidnapped, though no one seems to have any worthwhile information. All they've really given me is the name Malnosso, which doesn't exactly help things.
Since people have been talking about flowers that are now gone, I assume that you've been here for at least a few days longer than I have.
So what exactly is going on here?
no subject
So the Malnosso deign to treat me with more twisted humor. Wonderful.
You won't find very much useful information; our captors are not idiots. Do you even think anymore?
We are here to be experiments. Inhuman experiments; they are advanced enough to steal our humanity.
And still you hound me with your snark.
no subject
Experiments, huh? Has this been proven, or are they just threatening us? I have a really hard time believing anyone could do all that.
Even your friends.no subject
They've set heavy rains, magical flowers, and man-eating plants on us. Some have already died.
Your sense of humor still holds much to be desired. And the term is Filial, not angel.
no subject
So what exactly is being done to stop all this? Everyone I've seen seems to act like there's nothing out of the ordinary going on.
no subject
The serious attempts to overwhelm the Malnosso are hampered by their superior knowledge and technology. Even reconnaissance leads to people being captured or killed at their discretion.
A sense of humor never won a war.
no subject
Not like you'd notice anyway over the all-consuming aura of your over-inflated ego.I see. So we're just supposed to sit quietly and try to survive whatever they throw at us? Surely you've got some sort of plan.
no subject
No, I have in fact wheedled away an entire month because I enjoy the scenery.
Laugh, Caesar, laugh.
[ooc: You play Caesar ridiculously well. I'm impressed. XD]
no subject
That's... very unlike you, Albert. I guess getting old is making your mind soft, huh? I suppose I'll just have to make up for that, then, and come up with a plan for victory.
no subject
You can certainly try.
You will fail, but you can try. When you realize the futility of your timing, you can take your self-righteous anger and sit on it.Fool.
[ooc: I almost wish I had the experience. I've got nothing for my characterization. XDDD]
no subject
Oh, I will try, and I'll succeed. Unlike some people, I've got no intention of just sitting around and letting these bastards do whatever they want to everyone. We might be at a disadvantage, but sitting around isn't going to fix anything.
no subject
Then do what you will. Just don't expect anyone to catch you when things go awry.
[ooc: ... Yikes. Sounds pretty crazy. D:]
no subject
I didn't realize they were capable of pulling people from different times, as well.
Are you really, truly content to live the way things are now?
Don't worry, dear brother -- when I figure a way out of this mess, I won't leave you behind
as much as I'd like to sometimes.no subject
If I was, I would have dismissed you the moment you began ranting.
How very noble of you.
no subject
I'm... glad to hear you say that.
I was beginning to think that you might not be Albert at all, and just some copy the Malnosso created.Just wait and see, Albert. I'm already finding myself quite busy with organizing things.
no subject
The Malnosso have not yet shown the ability to do that, but with the alarming amount of knowledge on replicas abound, I wouldn't be surprised.
So I've noticed. You think far too highly of my arrogance.
[ooc: I'm working on the assumption that Albert's never heard about the Stars of Destiny and their influence on wars. So he was kinda "WTF is this mystical crap?" when Viki told him about it. :x]
no subject
Perhaps they'll incorporate it into one of their lovely "plagues". With everything else they're capable of, I'm sure it's within their power.
...you don't think it'll do any good, do you?
no subject
Stone?Viki explained it as individuals who gather when war arises; whether or not they are the cause of the war, she did not say. She seemed rather adamant that I was a star.Perhaps. And if it comes to pass, you would do well not to be so confrontational, unless you intend to get yourself killed.
Not against the Malnosso, no.
It made it easier to go to war against me, did it not?[ooc: Leon probably thought it was even more foolish than Albert. XD And he probably wasn't at all impressed with Leknaat reviving Gremio. >> It's amazing enough he passed on the knowledge of Yuber to Albert. u_u]
no subject
Ah, I don't intend on getting myself killed anytime soon -- though, from precedent I can only assume I'd probably just come back to life anyway.
Well, I'll do what I can, regardless.
no subject
"Come back to life" is hardly the way to think of it. You are here by the Malnosso's whim; by that same fact, you are revived by their whim. If they see fit, they could dispose of you like so much garbage.
Of course. You can make a reputation of offering your services to ragtag bands.
How disappointing.[ooc: Nope. Leon's dabbling into the arcane and summoning Yuber is never explained. And, as far as I know, the legend of the Stars of Destiny aren't mentioned in history. Other than Leknaat and the Qlon monks, I don't think anyone refers to the Stars. :o]
no subject
As could they dispose of any of us, at any time, rebellious or not. To die fighting rather than live in chains is a popular sentiment of many a warrior, is it not? And who knows? Perhaps to be disposed of here is to return home and continue as if nothing ever happened.
Well, it's worked out so far, hasn't it?
