The longer we are here, the less surprised I am whenever I find out there are more "crazy" types around.

Emotional damage tends to be more devastating than physical damage. I'm sure we will hear from many dismayed and angry victims once this is over.

I've had my brief stint of anger over the situation. I'm not sure how I'll react once I'm out of this somewhat euphoria, but I'll be fine.

[ooc: That... That would be interesting. And likely have lovely aftereffects. (I think that would effectively drive a wedge between the two, no matter how much progress they had made. XDD;)]

I ... really hope so, Albert. I--I don't know how I would react in such a situation. The idea that the Malnosso can tweak with our emotions like that ... I can't stand it.

As frustrating as it is ... I can't say I'm surprised by this development. The Malnosso seem to have complete control of us and this environment; we're stripped of most everything that resembles freedom.

Why they choose to do things this way brings back to mind our conversation that they may very well be insane.

Indeed. That said, you probably know much more than I do about not provoking him. The best I can do is try to keep him occupied.

I think you overestimate my experience with the dangerous types. But considering the company I was keeping during the war ... perhaps.

I think I prefer their early experiments in comparison to this. I'd rather have the river flooding than everyone incapacitated. Except for that Itsuki fellow.

Ah, I never had the pleasure of dealing with the great flood. I agree with you there, though. He's not so bad. Untrustworthy, yes, dangerous, yes, but not the worst by far.
