∞ 39: Assessment [written]

My coat has been returned. It is no worse than it was before. Good.

Sephiroth is gone. Caesar would be frustrated, were he here.

A layered experiment, built upon over the days until it engulfs the entire village. I'm sure that residents will note that we haven't had something quite that elaborate in the past. The Malnosso were kind enough to reset buildings that were demolished or burned to the ground, as well as return those who were vampirized or killed.

Despite having a very effective form of communication linking every Filial here, we allowed the situation to devolve into an utter mess. It became a primal matter of survival, and instead of acting in groups, many acted alone -- and became victims (see Cloud Strife's entry and list).

I would like to ask everyone... Are you satisfied with how disorganized we are when faced with a crisis?

We have had protests against and calls for leadership in Luceti in the past. I am reopening the discussion in lieu of those who previously began them, since they are now missing from Luceti.

Your ideas. Your leaders. Let me hear of them. We have previously discussed a council to provide a form of structure, of government, who people can turn to. Some would rather have a single elected leader. Some have no interest in an established government at all.

To the latter, I once again direct your attention to Cloud Strife's entry. Those were only those who were bitten and turned. Think of those who were killed in the last experiment, or lost what the Malnosso will not replace.

Let me hear from you, Luceti.

...In the absence of my people to look over, I suppose it is only right that I, the princess of the Zora Tribe, offer you my services in whatever form of governing you may design.

Though truth be told, I can only see uniting people of so many different tribes under one banner to be foolishness.

...Point, though it still seems a difficult task. All the more reason you need my assistance, I suppose.
