∞ 67: A practiced hand [action/voice]

[It's an early overcast morning in Luceti. Just beyond the makeshift barricades to the east of the village are several tree stumps, reminders of the flurry of activity before the August battle. If anyone happens to be passing by or through the area, they may see a horse and rider moving amongst the tree stumps. It's a well-practice motion now, quickly weaving through the tree stumps. Some of the sounds may be audible over the journal.

There's a pause as Albert brings his horse to a stop. And then a sigh audible over the journal.] I want something to drink. ...Perhaps tomorrow night.

[Then it's back to practicing.]

ooc: Okay, since I have been so much fail lately, the council meeting was never done in a prompt manner. So we can either backlog or assume the meeting happened and various topics were brought up. I would prefer to just list the topics discussed and mention any sorts of miscellaneous things, since it's ... more efficient. u_u

Albert wanted to discuss the following things:
-- Sigmund's desire to strengthen the barricades. Albert would want to build more permanent fences instead of the stacked logs used for the quick barricades, though it would take much longer.
-- The council's thoughts on how the New Feather Center is doing.
-- Warnings about the experiment that may happen during the Halloween week.
-- Find out about that barricade that Brave Vesperia put up in the tunnel. And traveling out to that desert fort and making it operable. Maybe not right away, because of the possible Halloween experiment. But maybe during the next New Feather cycle.

- Yuan would definitely offer to help with the desert fort project. It wouldn't be a problem if the tunnel's still closed off, because he doesn't need it to get to the desert. He could just fly there. The big problem would be getting supplies there.

- Vyse thinks the New Feather Center is doing great! And Yuan thinks has potential to get the job done effectively, so with a bit more work and time it would be an improvement from Canard (or any other similar 'group').

- Vyse makes a note to bring the possible experiment up in the Blue Rogue meeting on the 25th. The relatively new Blue Rogues will have to stay on their toes and it wouldn't hurt to talk to the older members about it, either. Of course, I have to OOCly point out it's a null mention, because by then the event will have already kicked off.

I can't think of anything else for my characters to mention, so... yeah.

- I don't know if that barrier in the tunnel is still up (and is probably forgotten about), since I'm pretty sure Adell and the prinny... what's his name. Kurtis. They said they used the tunnel to get into the village since Kurtis was stranded out there. So it's probably been moved aside at some point maybe? But that would be up to Yuri to be the final say on that.

- So far it seems to be fairly effective. At least, an improvement over the previous situation. Granted we don't know if people are actually being *told* the additional information they should be, and it's only been operational for one cycle thus far, so time will tell.

- Possibly bring up that town meeting idea again - who should call it to attention, dates, etc. Since it's been a month since it was last mentioned.

-- The barricade BV put up has been partially taken down since the invasion ended, so people can use the tunnel again. Supplies for it are still down there, so it can be easily put back up again. He's not saying anything about going out to the desert fort, though. Screw the desert :|

-- Yuri would agree on the barricades needing strengthening, since after the invasion, the village is still pretty much defenseless, BR and BV aside.

-- The Welcome Center has been doing pretty well, as far as he thinks.

-- Like Vyse, Yuri would also have made a note to inform both Karol and members of BV about last year's Halloween experiment, and the chances of it happening again this year during their next meeting on ... well, what was the 15th.

Aside from that, he wouldn't really mention much else. He's saving his "maybe Karol should come" thought process for a time after Karol proves himself to Luceti without him having to say anything.
