Though some of you have already said you will not participate, I am reminding you that your request has been "noted" and nothing more. It's still entirely possible the scientists will find a way to force you to go. This is said as a precaution; do not presume you will be allowed to stay, and prepare accordingly. There must be a reason they gave such a specific list instead of calling for volunteers to report in.

That said, if any of you wish to participate in planning, or feel the need to go into this battle with some ideas in mind, know that I will coordinate with you as best I can.
I expect we will have a few who will do what they wish out there alone, regardless of any tactics, but the majority will benefit from cooperative attacks.

For those who are unaware, we had previously fought against 300 individuals with a combat force of approximately 150. That battle lasted about two days, with complete elimination of the intruders. The disadvantages this time around are obvious; we will be the invading force with much smaller numbers and on unfamiliar terrain, thus leading to greater risks of fatigue and death.

I have, sir. I am an archer, and I have a keen eye. I am also very used to fighting flying units.

Then your skills will be very helpful in the upcoming battle. I presume you have seen the picture of our destination. Do you have the physical means to scale high-rises like those shown there? [Since some people are immensely talented like that.]

I certainly hope I can be of some help. I have, but I don't have any way of scaling those buildings, no.

And you use a standard longbow, correct? The high-rises will make aiming more difficult than if you had clear skies. [He taps his pen as he thinks of how to accommodate her skills.]

Yes, though I've requested the use of a specific bow from my homeworld. Are you suggesting that I make my way to the top of one of them?

There are different ways that you could be accommodated; having the ability to shoot from a high-rise would be the most advantageous, but without means to escape, you would be very vulnerable. So you would need to be paired with someone who can teleport or fly and support you.

That's only one scenario, of course.

Well, Nino, my friend, could use a warp staff to get me there, if she had one. Though, she can't warp herself, I don't think.

Would your friend be able to recall you once you are out of sight? If so, that would work as a strike-and-reposition maneuver.

Only if she had another staff, I think.

If she could request one, we can see how that works. This is a tentative plan at best; we still need to see what we are working with.
