∞ 54: Gardening [action]

[For all intents and purposes, Albert shouldn't be outside of the house. He especially shouldn't be doing any sort of work that will strain his neck. And yet, he's crouched over a flowerbed with a listless expression, pulling weeds. ~~Oh, how the mighty have fallen?~~]

[Albert sits up and looks in Genis' direction as he approaches. He smirks wryly, imitating someone falling asleep.]

[Can't help but grin at that. Oh Albert, being sneaky around Raine, are you?]

Good job. It's great to see you outside; being in bed all day really sucks. But- you sure you're well enough to be out like this...?

[It's terribly easy to be sneaky when Raine takes naps; she doesn't seem to be a particularly light sleeper. At Genis' question, Albert shrugs dismissively and gestures at the small pile of weeds. It's not as if he's trying to run a marathon in his condition.]

[Doesn't help that she works herself into exhaustion, either. Genis looks at the weeds and crouches beside Albert.]

Well, I guess doing this is fine. Just hope that Raine doesn't catch you or anything.

[He nods; even if he's caught, he's really not afraid of what Raine could possibly do to him. He sits up and to pull something out of his pocket -- a packet of flower seeds.]

Ah - we're planting some new flowers? What kind are they?

[Albert pauses, trying to decide how he'll explain. He decides it's best to speak.]

...Moonflower. Morning glory. Grows quickly. [The earth spirit makes it much easier to keep the seeds from dying. He points at the windows of the house, standing to trace a path along the window frames and clear his throat noisily.] Trellises over windows... Need to build them.

Ohh. Sounds like it'll look really pretty. We should get Lloyd to help us build them. When you're feeling better, of course.
