∞ 74: A windy day [action]

[Despite the mild windiness today, Albert is sitting out on the porch of his house. He has a few notes and his journal with him, but he's mostly just out there to think and drink a little. The town meeting was just yesterday, and it certainly proved a few things he had surmised about the populace. There had been a few opinions he had heard that more clearly showed others' state of mind (some for the better, most for the worse), and he had to readjust those plans accordingly.

Now to think of the next course of action.]

[Frederic had been walking by where Albert was and spotted him, he decided to come up and speak with him. When approaching Albert, he bows his head properly to the man.]

Good afternoon, Sir.

[Albert nods in greeting at the sight of the other. An older gentleman -- somewhat in the minority in this very young village.]

[Frederic turns his eyes to the empty spot next to Albert on the porch of the house. But turns his eyes back towards to Albert's face.]

Indeed, I could not agree with you more. Although if I may ask, could I be allowed to join you? I have been wandering about the village the entire day and would not mind resting my feet.

[Something about the man's demeanor tells Albert that this is an earnest request. He gestures to the chair beside him.]

If you please. I only ask for your name, sir.

[Raine actually has been resting for most of the day inside. It's Sunday, that meeting was long and tiring, and she's been feeling drained anyway. But eventually she'll bundle up properly and look out of the door.]

[He shifts his head slightly at the creak of the door, but returns his attention to looking out from the porch. It's getting to be that time where his flowers will start waking up again.]

[She'll quietly look out from the door for a few moments longer, before moving to join him.]

[Caesar may or may not have a good reason to be passing by here today. Of course, he always looks for Albert when he's around here, whether it's so he can sneak by undetected or bother the heck out of him, so when he spots his brother, Caesar stops to consider which he wants to do today. He looks kind of busy... so naturally, it doesn't take him long to decide.

Little brother is currently making his way up the steps to the porch, then, much less hesitant than usual.]

Hey. What are you doing?

[Since Albert was already sitting there looking out, it doesn't take long for him to spot Caesar. He idles his time away sipping his wine while waiting for Caesar to slowly approach.]

Does it look like I'm doing anything? [Though he has his notes and journal with him, they aren't laid out on the side table in any readable manner.]

...yes? [Ugh. Stupid Albert. Totally throwing him off.]

So you're not busy, then? Good. [Pause.] Let's do something today, Albert.

[Albert raises a brow at Caesar's statement.]

Do something? [Together? What? There's a note of cautious surprise there.]

[Nash is taking another one of his exaggerated detours. Whistling loudly. Perhaps keeping an eye out for the comment box.]

[Because Albert would rather not stare at that comment box after the ... bad experiences attached to it, he's actually got it out in front of the house, on the porch. It looks rather out of place.]

[Excellent! Nash is definitely going to walk up to the comment box, take a writing utensil and piece of paper out from...somewhere amongst his pockets, and start tapping the pen without seeming to write anything.]

What do you think I should write?

[Have a blank look, Nash. It's especially noticeable since Albert had his glass halfway to his lips, and he had to set it back down.]

You could comment on Harmonia's assortment of hats for inanity's sake.

[Hugo had been looking around the forest earlier in the day just to familiarize himself with the topography of the land and hanging off a tree, only to come out of the area between Community Building # 7 and House #42. He pauses almost immediately at the sight of Albert, a little surprised to see him out there.]

[Is that the Flame Champion, finally in the flesh? It's been quite awhile since Albert has seen the boy. He might watch Hugo as he's heading on his way.]

[Lilly is returning home after her 'date' with Adell, so she'll likely be along a little later than everyone else. But before she can get into her home in C7, she can't help but notice him out there being extremely boring. And also drinking some wine. She turns to address him, hands on hips.]

I thought if the great Albert Silverberg went outside in the sun, he would be reduced to ashes.

It is. I'll be so much happier knowing that there isn't a heartless, bloodsucking vampire next door. Well, the vampire part anyways.
